DATALEUM HACKATHON
Dataleum Hackathon is a competition designed to challenge Dataleum's alumni to further hone their data analysis skills and showcase their innovative problem-solving abilities. Participants had the opportunity to win cash prizes while expanding their knowledge and expertise in the field of data analysis.
The most recent edition was Dataleum Hackathon 3.0. Dataleum Hackathon 3.0 featured a panel of esteemed industry professionals as judges for the day. These included Mojisola Olawepo ITILĀ®, Rasheed AbdulKareem, Mary Osinowo Kolade, MBA PMPĀ® ITIL, Tobi Williams B., and Samuel Arojojoye. The judges provided invaluable feedback and guidance to participants, ensuring the competition remained challenging, fair, and relevant to real-world industry demands. Their expertise and insights helped to inspire and motivate participants to deliver their best work and push the boundaries of what is possible in the field of data analysis.
The competition was divided into three distinct categories - sports, hospitality, and health - with three different teams competing in each category and with each team comprising three talented Dataleum alumni. Each team was given a dataset that was specifically tailored to their respective category. The top three teams from each category were then selected based on their outstanding performance. Ultimately, the winner emerged from the sports category, demonstrating exceptional skill and expertise in analyzing sports-related data.
This competition is an essential component of Dataleum's talent acceleration program, providing a platform for alumni to demonstrate their skills and put their knowledge into practice. By offering cash prizes, Dataleum encourages participants to develop creative and effective solutions to real-world problems and fosters a culture of healthy competition and innovation.
